New Device Setup

A new device should feel exciting, not stressful. I’ll set it up from scratch, move your important stuff across, and make sure everything is safe, organised, and easy to find. Most importantly: we’ll practise the basics together so you feel confident using it day-to-day.

What’s included

- Setup & updates (device, apps, security patches)
- Email, contacts, calendar setup
- Wi-Fi connection and basic settings
- Data transfer where possible (photos, contacts, files)
- Accessibility settings if helpful (larger text, voice, captions, simplified layout)
- Essential apps installed and organised (banking optional, MyGov optional)
- Simple “how to” notes (written in plain English)

After the visit, I’ll check in by phone to make sure you’re comfortable and have everything under control.
